Overview

Brighton College is an accredited online college that offers distance learning programs in several of today’s fastest growing occupational fields. Brighton offers career and technical training courses that are relevant and prepare the student for successfully entering their chosen field.  Each course usually takes about 8 weeks for a student to complete; the school may decide the maximum number of courses per semester. Students will need to complete 4 submissions per week to stay on pace; each lesson takes on average 2-3 hours to complete.

Brighton College courses are primarily for career technical education and may not transfer to most traditional 4-year universities. Brighton College will recognize these credits in one of their associate degree programs as elective credits.

Brighton College recommends students who are in their Junior or Senior year to take CTE courses as when they graduate some careers may require a high school diploma and 18 years of age.
