Essentials of Medical Terminology |

An exploration of the systems of the human body including the
musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and
urinary systems as well as reproductive, integumentary,
blood/lymph, endocrine and nervous systems and how they relate
to each other. In addition, some of the most common diseases and
disorders affecting these systems and the treatments for them are discussed.

Anatomy and Physiology |

A comprehensive study of the structure
and function of the human body systems. Students will understand the components of each
system, and how systems relate to each other. Special emphasis is on the musculoskeletal,
cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary and reproductive (male and female)
systems.

An introduction to the field of medical coding and
compliance for physician practices. Course provides practice in linking diagnosis and procedure
codes correctly utilizing the CPT and ICD-9-CM. |

A study of outpatient medical coding
procedures utilizing the CPT and ICD-9-CM. Practice in coding diagnoses and procedures for
